Welcome to the Ikonic Wedding Planner. Here is how to build a budget around your wedding. The figures in this walkthrough are examples. Start by selecting Build My Wedding Budget.
If you know your budget, enter the total you want to work with. If you are not sure, choose the estimate option. Both routes create a plan you can edit.
Choose your wedding type. This helps the planner suggest relevant celebrations. There are options for Sikh, Hindu, Muslim, Christian, civil, fusion and multi-day weddings.
Select your wedding location, and add a town or venue area if you would like. Location changes the starting assumptions. Actual supplier quotes are always more useful than an estimate.
Use the slider, or type your expected number of guests. You can adjust attendance for each celebration in the event builder.
Choose how many celebrations you are planning. Include the events you want this budget to cover, whether they happen on one day or across several days.
Review the suggested events. Rename them, change guest numbers, or use the arrows to change their order. Add a suggested or custom event, and remove anything that does not fit your plans.
Choose up to three priorities, such as photography, film or food. The planner protects these amounts when rebalancing other categories. Then select Reveal My Wedding Plan.
Your results show your total, cost per guest, contingency and biggest budget categories. Treat suggested allowances as a starting plan. They do not guarantee a supplier price or measure affordability.
Edit any category amount as your plans become clearer. Lock a category to preserve it during rebalancing. You can also review payments and adjust your contingency. Check any overspend message before continuing.
Use What If to explore fewer guests, another event, a different location or a change in spending. The potential difference is an estimate. Your saved plan stays unchanged, and you can save a what-if note.
Work through forgotten costs, including VAT, supplier meals, travel and overtime. Mark each as included or not applicable, or enter an extra amount and add it to your budget. Avoid counting costs twice.
Add a supplier name, category, budgeted amount and quoted amount to see the difference. Select Rebalance My Budget to update the remaining categories. Locked amounts stay protected; review any shortfall.
Your Wedding Plan Score highlights what still needs reviewing. It is a completeness score, not a financial health score. Share your wedding personality with your partner. Personality links and Story images leave out private budget figures.
Your progress saves on this device. Download your PDF to keep or print the plan. Export an editable backup to move it to another device, then import that file there. Browser storage can be cleared.

There is no single right total. Start with the guest list, location and celebrations you want, then collect quotes with clear inclusions. This wedding cost calculator UK tool offers editable planning assumptions, not a published average or a supplier quotation.
Meals, drinks, stationery and gifts can change with attendance. Venue minimum spends and fixed supplier fees may remain the same. For multiple celebrations, count attendance at each event rather than multiplying the main guest list blindly.
This planner starts with an editable 7% contingency allowance within your total. Test different amounts against the costs and unknowns in your own plan. The reserve is not additional money outside your chosen budget.
List each celebration, its attendance and location. Include repeated hire, catering, styling, travel and coverage. Event attendance informs the estimate; the category breakdown remains the single source of spending totals, so event costs are not added twice.
Build your Asian wedding budget around your actual celebrations. A Sikh wedding budget might include Maiyan, Jaggo and Anand Karaj; a Hindu wedding budget might include Mehndi, Sangeet and Haldi; a Muslim wedding budget might include Nikkah and Walima. Choose only the events that matter to your families.
Check VAT, service charges, corkage, supplier meals, travel, parking, overtime, alterations, cleaning, delivery and ceremony or registrar fees. Ask whether each is included in an existing package before adding it.
