Wedding Photographer in Solihull

Wedding photographer in SolihullYour day.
Felt forever.
Relaxed, cinematic wedding photography for couples who want to be fully present—and remember exactly how it all felt.
You don’t need to know what to do in front of a camera.
You just need to be yourselves. We’ll bring the calm direction, read the room and capture the unrepeatable moments in between—the look before the ceremony, the full-volume laughter and everyone you love under one roof.
From intimate civil ceremonies to multi-day Sikh, Hindu, Muslim and Christian celebrations, our approach is thoughtful, unobtrusive and shaped around you.
Confident from “yes” to “I do”
Great wedding photography starts long before the shutter clicks. Here’s how we make the whole experience feel easy.
We get your vision
Tell us what matters, what you love and what you’re nervous about. We’ll recommend coverage that fits your celebration.
We make the plan
Timelines, traditions, family groups and golden-hour portraits—thought through together, so you can switch off on the day.
You live it
We guide when needed and disappear when the moment takes over. You celebrate; we preserve the feeling.
“The best wedding photos don’t just show how your day looked. They bring back the people, the energy and the feeling.”IKONIC MEDIA SOLUTIONS • SOLIHULL & THE WEST MIDLANDS

Remember the feeling
Natural photographs with a cinematic finish, preserving the people, energy and emotion of your day.
Wedding photography across Solihull
We photograph weddings throughout Solihull and the West Midlands, from elegant country-house celebrations and modern hotel receptions to intimate registry ceremonies and multi-day family events.
Start with the shape of your day
A ceremony in Solihull town centre and a reception in Dorridge need a different plan from a celebration where everyone stays at one venue. Share each address, not just the venue name, so preparation, portraits and travel all fit together.
These are planning notes drawn from venue and council information—not a claim that we have photographed at every location below.
Solihull Register Office, Homer Road
The Register Office has a front garden for photographs, making it worth discussing a short family-group session before guests leave. Dedicated parking accommodates up to two cars for the couple, so ask guests to arrange nearby parking separately. Confirm the ceremony room, arrival instructions and photography arrangements with the registration team.
Register Office informationHampton Manor, Hampton-in-Arden
Hampton Manor offers The Birches for ceremonies and the light-filled Courtyard for celebrations, with a parish church adjoining the estate. Tell us which spaces you have booked so we can plan family photographs, walking time and portraits around the flow of your day. Agree an indoor alternative and room access with the venue rather than relying on the gardens alone.
Hampton Manor weddingsHogarths, Dorridge
Hogarths combines options such as The Island for outdoor ceremonies and The Dressing Room for preparation. Its Asian-wedding offering also includes dry hire, so the photography schedule should work with your chosen caterer, decorators and ceremony arrangements. Confirm preparation access and the wet-weather plan before fixing portrait and family-group timings.

Build the timetable around people and places, then decide how much photography and film coverage you need.
Map preparation, ceremony and reception separately
Include parking, unloading and walking—not just the drive. For routes using the M42, A41 or airport side of the borough, check current roadworks close to your date. We do not promise a fixed transfer time before the route is known.
Ask the person leading your ceremony
For a church ceremony, such as St Alphege in Solihull town centre, discuss camera positions, movement, flash and microphones with the officiant. For an Anand Karaj, Hindu ceremony or Nikah, share the order of events and your family’s priorities; arrangements vary between venues and ceremonies.
Plan simultaneous preparation honestly
If you are getting ready at different addresses, one photographer cannot be in both places at once. Decide whose preparation matters most, stagger coverage where practical, or discuss a second photographer. The same conversation helps coordinate the film team.
Keep family photographs manageable
Prepare a short group list and nominate someone who knows both families. Choose a meeting point that works for older relatives, children and anyone who needs step-free access, with an indoor option agreed with the venue.
Protect the moments around the formalities
Leave room for greetings, outfit changes and a brief couple portrait session. For multi-event weddings, plan each event’s address and start time individually rather than squeezing the whole celebration into a standard wedding-day template.

How much does wedding photography in Solihull cost?
Ikonic Media wedding photography starts from £850 for five hours. Longer days, photography and film together, and multi-day celebrations are quoted around your plans. Tell us your date, venues and events so we can explain the coverage and any travel costs before you book.
Can you photograph a small ceremony at Solihull Register Office?
Yes—tell us your ceremony time, guest numbers and whether you would like photographs afterwards. The Register Office on Homer Road has a front garden for photographs. Its dedicated parking is limited to up to two cars for the couple, so guests should plan nearby parking separately.
Can we have couple portraits in Malvern and Brueton Parks?
The connected parks offer different settings: formal gardens at Malvern and lake and woodland scenery at Brueton. Agree the meeting point first—New Road for the Malvern end or Warwick Road for Brueton—and allow for walking, guests and accessibility. Check current access and any permission requirements before making this part of your wedding-day schedule.
Do you cover Asian and multi-faith weddings with a Solihull reception?
Yes. We plan Sikh, Hindu, Muslim, Christian, civil and multicultural celebrations around the couple’s own traditions. If your ceremony and Solihull reception are at different addresses, share both locations, preparation plans and key timings. That helps us advise on coverage, travel allowances and whether a second photographer would be useful.
What happens if it rains at our Solihull venue?
Plan an indoor portrait and family-group option with the venue before the day. Ask which rooms will be available while catering and reception preparations are under way. A short outdoor portrait session can then be fitted around the weather if conditions are suitable, without holding up the celebration.
Can we book wedding photography and videography together?
Yes. Photography and film can be planned as one coordinated booking, including preparation, ceremony audio, portraits and the reception. Film coverage is quoted separately from the £850 five-hour photography starting option. Tell us which events and people matter most, and we will recommend the team and hours.
Is drone footage guaranteed at a Solihull wedding?
No. Drone filming depends on the exact location, airspace permissions, venue approval, weather and safe operating conditions. Birmingham Airport has a flight restriction zone, so a nearby venue needs a location-specific check. Do not build your film plans around drone shots being available.
What should we send when checking our wedding date?
Send your date, ceremony and reception addresses, approximate guest numbers and the events you want covered. Include preparation locations and any important traditions or accessibility needs. We can then discuss availability, a realistic timeline and a written quote with delivery expectations.
For airport-area filming, see Birmingham Airport’s drone safety guidance.
Tell us where your story begins
Send your wedding date, Solihull venue and any other ceremony or preparation addresses. We’ll discuss availability and coverage that fits the celebration you are planning.
