Twenty minutes of preparation is the difference between a good set and a great one. Work through this list before we arrive.
- Beds fully made, sheets smoothed, pillows plumped and squared
- Every light bulb working, all lamps switched on
- Personal belongings, post and paperwork removed
- Kitchen surfaces cleared except deliberate items (kettle, coffee machine, fruit bowl)
- Bins hidden or removed from every room
- Mirrors, glass and taps cleaned and polished
- Curtains and blinds fully open
- Cars moved off the drive and away from the front where possible
