Ikonic Media Solutions provides destination wedding photography and cinematic film for couples marrying abroad. Our UK team is based in Wednesbury, serving Birmingham and the West Midlands, with overseas coverage quoted around your dates, destination and celebrations.
Your guests have travelled to be with you. There are reunions at breakfast, nerves in unfamiliar rooms and little conversations you might otherwise miss. Those moments deserve as much attention as the view.
We make room for natural photographs and give you guidance when it helps. A short portrait session can sit comfortably within the day, without turning your wedding into a day-long photoshoot.

Destination wedding photography packages, built around your plans.
Some couples need one wedding day covered. Others are bringing two families together for a welcome evening, several ceremonies and a reception over a long weekend. We begin with that schedule, then work out the people and time needed to photograph it properly.
How much will it cost?
Destination wedding photography is individually quoted. Your destination, celebration days, coverage hours, photography or film team and agreed travel arrangements determine the price.
We do not publish a single overseas rate that leaves you guessing about flights or accommodation. Your quotation sets out the coverage and travel arrangements before you book.
Planning a wedding in the UK instead? UK wedding photography starts from £850 for five hours. That is a separate starting package, not an overseas wedding price.
Wedding photography
Preparations, ceremony, family photographs, portraits and the celebration afterwards. We agree a start and finish time around the moments you want covered, including a second photographer when events overlap.
Photography & cinematic film

Asian and multicultural destination weddings.
Taking your wedding abroad does not make the family traditions less important. Diven’s experience includes Sikh, Hindu, Muslim, Christian and multicultural celebrations. We ask about your ceremony and family preferences rather than assuming every wedding follows the same sequence.
Sikh & Punjabi celebrations
Tell us about the Maiyan, Mehndi, Jago, Milni, Anand Karaj and the celebrations that follow, where relevant to your plans. We coordinate coverage with your timetable and respect the ceremony’s photography guidance.
Hindu weddings
From a Sangeet or Baraat to the Mandap ceremony and Vidai, timings and traditions differ between families. Share the events that matter, the key people and any simultaneous preparations.
Nikah, church & fusion weddings
A Nikah and Walima, a church ceremony or two cultural celebrations may need quite different coverage. Discuss privacy, modesty, religious guidance and team preferences early so arrangements can be confirmed.

A thoughtful plan before the flight
What changes when your wedding is abroad?
Travel needs time around it
A wedding date is only one part of the booking. We also consider travel days, transfers and enough arrival time for the agreed plan. Flights and accommodation need to work with your destination and the team’s schedule.
Know what your venue allows
Some venues have rules about outside suppliers, ceremony photography, filming or access to particular spaces. Share your coordinator’s details early. Any permissions, supplier fees and responsibilities need to be clear before the booking is confirmed.
Build portraits around the day
Heat, wind, the position of the sun and the distance between locations affect the portrait plan. We talk through a practical time and a weather alternative, so a photograph does not cost you the entire drinks reception.

How much does destination wedding photography with Ikonic Media cost?
Ikonic Media Solutions quotes destination wedding photography individually. The price depends on your destination, dates, events, coverage hours, team size and agreed travel arrangements. Send your venue and outline schedule for a written quotation. The £850 starting price for five hours on our UK wedding photography page is not an overseas wedding package.
What is included in a destination wedding photography package?
Your written quotation sets out the photography coverage, team, professionally edited high-resolution images and delivery arrangements. We can discuss pre-wedding portraits, additional events, cinematic film and a custom-designed album. Travel, accommodation and any agreed extras are itemised or clearly identified as included before you book.
Do you travel abroad for weddings?
Yes. Ikonic Media Solutions is based in Wednesbury in the West Midlands and welcomes enquiries for selected international destinations. We check your dates, travel practicality, venue access and local requirements before confirming an overseas booking.
Are flights, accommodation and transfers included?
Travel arrangements are agreed for each destination wedding. Your quotation should make clear what is included and any separately agreed travel or accommodation costs. We plan our team’s travel with you; we do not arrange guest holidays or the wedding itself.
Can we book destination wedding photography and videography together?
Yes. Photography and cinematic wedding film can be planned together. The number of photographers and cinematographers, ceremony audio, films and editing deliverables are agreed around your celebrations and listed in your quotation.
Do you photograph multi-day Asian weddings abroad?
We can plan photography and film around multi-day Sikh, Hindu, Muslim and multicultural celebrations abroad, subject to availability and travel arrangements. Tell us about your ceremonies, households, venues and any overlapping events so we can recommend the right team.
Can we include a pre-wedding shoot or welcome celebration?
Yes, these can be included in a bespoke plan. A pre-wedding portrait session, welcome gathering, Mehndi, Sangeet or next-day celebration needs its own agreed time and coverage. Let us know which events matter to you when requesting your quotation.
What happens if you have not photographed our venue before?
Share the venue details and your planner or coordinator’s contact information. We discuss access, portrait locations, ceremony restrictions, light and a weather alternative before the wedding. A visit or location check depends on the agreed travel schedule; we do not claim to have photographed a venue we have not worked at.
How early should we enquire about a destination wedding?
Enquire when you have a likely date and destination, even if your schedule is not final. We need to check both wedding-day availability and travel days. Your booking terms will explain what is required to reserve the dates.
When will we receive our destination wedding photographs?
Our usual destination-wedding photo delivery timeframe is 8–12 weeks after the wedding. Your booking confirms the expected date for your edited high-resolution images. Wedding films and album production have their own agreed delivery schedules.
Can we choose a custom wedding album?
Yes. We offer custom album design, with the size, cover, layout and price agreed around your preferences. Ask for it to be included in your destination wedding quotation, or discuss an album after viewing your photographs.
How do we book a destination wedding photographer?
