We balance the character of the streets and buildings with the quieter exchanges inside your celebration. A short portrait walk can work well when your clothes, footwear and timings allow it. You will not need to leave your guests for a tour of every recognisable corner.
We cover Saint Paul’s Square and the wider Jewellery Quarter as part of our Birmingham service area. Ikonic Media Solutions is based in Wednesbury. Your proposal will identify the actual ceremony and reception addresses, rather than imply that our business has a studio in the Quarter.

St Paul’s Church, St Paul’s Square
The church accepts wedding enquiries directly. Once your ceremony is arranged, check photography positions and time for groups with the church team. We would keep the exit clear, gather close family efficiently and leave any wider square portraits until they fit the schedule.

Keep St Paul’s Square in proportion
Choose a short route around the places already in your day. We would not hold guests on a pavement while attempting a long list of backdrops. Private courtyards, doorways and interiors need permission, even when they look accessible from the street.
Separate the church from the reception booking
St Paul’s Church and Saint Pauls House are different organisations. Confirm each booking, the ceremony finish and when guests can enter the reception. If you are walking between them, account for footwear, mobility and the weather.
Let the evening remain a celebration
For restaurant and bar receptions, send us the speeches and meal times, available floor space and any lighting restrictions. Film needs audio planning as well as camera positions. A short portrait break earlier can leave you free to enjoy dinner with your guests.
Allow time between St Paul’s Square and Frederick Street
For a St Paul’s Church ceremony followed by the Button Factory, confirm the reception entrance at 25 Frederick Street, B1 3HH. Include greetings, gathering belongings and guests who need transport in the schedule. Choose family groups at one agreed meeting point rather than stopping the whole party repeatedly along the route.
Build a wet-weather plan around your booked room
At Saint Pauls House, ask how the Terrace is arranged when its retractable roof is closed. Decide where a small family group can stand without disturbing tables or staff. An indoor fallback should be part of the venue discussion before adding outdoor portraits around St Paul’s Square.
Keep preparations close, but confirm access
If you are preparing at Frederick Street Townhouse beside the Button Factory, share your room access time and the moment you need to leave for the ceremony. Ask where outfits and details can be photographed without blocking the room. Nearby preparations can simplify the day, but separate bookings still need coordinated timings.

Ikonic Media wedding photography starts from £850 for five hours. Film, additional hours and multi-day celebrations are quoted separately.
The right coverage depends on the fixed ceremony time, preparations, reception and any transfers. We will explain what fits the starting coverage and quote additional services against your plans.

How should we time St Paul’s Church photographs before a Button Factory reception?
Work backwards from the Button Factory’s agreed meal time. Allow for the church exit, close-family groups and the move to Frederick Street, including guests who need a lift. Keep a short portrait break optional so it does not delay the reception. The required coverage depends on your actual ceremony and reception bookings.
Can we have portraits around St Paul’s Square?
We can plan a short route if it fits your ceremony and reception. Public access does not provide permission for private interiors or courtyards. We keep entrances and pavements clear and agree a wet-weather alternative.
Are St Paul’s Church and Saint Pauls House the same wedding venue?
No. The church handles its own wedding arrangements, while Saint Pauls House offers hotel and event spaces. Give us both bookings and timings if you are using them on the same day.
Where can we take family photographs at Saint Pauls House if it rains?
Ask the coordinator which part of your reserved room or Terrace can remain clear for photographs. The Terrace has a retractable roof, but the table layout still determines usable space. Agree a small group list and an indoor position before relying on portraits in St Paul’s Square.
Should we include the Chamberlain Clock as well as St Paul’s Square in our portrait route?
Only if the additional walk fits your clothes, mobility needs and reception timing. Choose one priority setting first; do not promise both locations before checking the route together. A portrait near your booked Jewellery Quarter venue may be enough, particularly if the weather changes.
Can you photograph a ceremony outside the Jewellery Quarter and our Saint Paul’s House reception?
Yes. Tell us the ceremony address, finishing time and the spaces booked at Saint Paul’s House. We will include the transfer, city arrival and a short portrait plan around Saint Paul’s Square where practical, without assuming private access to the square. Film is quoted separately; the £850 starting price covers five hours of photography.
How can portraits fit before a Button Factory wedding meal?
Share your reserved space at the Button Factory on Frederick Street and the kitchen’s agreed meal time. We can discuss a short nearby portrait route, keeping enough time to return before service. Any use of private interiors or terraces must be agreed with the venue.
What is the plan for a rainy Saint Paul’s Square wedding?
Confirm an indoor group-photo option with the church or reception venue you have booked. Keep an outdoor walk around Saint Paul’s Square optional, especially if clothing or mobility makes wet pavements difficult. Nearby buildings are not automatic indoor alternatives without permission.
