A REAL TEAM. A CLEAR POINT OF VIEW.

Meet Diven, the person behind Ikonic.

Diven Laxman is the founder and lead photographer at Ikonic Media Solutions. The team provides wedding photography and film from its base in Wednesbury, serving Birmingham, the West Midlands and celebrations further afield by arrangement.

This journal brings together Ikonic’s photography, ceremony and venue-planning articles. Use it to prepare better questions for your photographer, venue and officiant—not as a substitute for their current booking terms or guidance.

USEFUL ANSWERS, WITHOUT THE GUESSWORK

Before you make a decision.

What should we compare when choosing a photographer?

Ask to see a complete wedding gallery, confirm who will photograph the day, and compare the hours, deliverables, delivery schedule and written terms. A few favourite portraits cannot show an entire service.

Explore photography & film coverage ↗

How much time should we allow for portraits?

Start with your ceremony and meal times, the family groups you want, and the distance between locations. Agree a manageable portrait break and a wet-weather alternative rather than relying on one timetable for every wedding.

Consider a pre-wedding session ↗

Can a guide confirm venue rules or ceremony requirements?

No. Access, prices, booking conditions and ceremony rules can change. Check the article’s publication date and confirm the details with the venue, register office or officiant. Older articles remain in the archive for reference.
