The cost of Asian wedding photography depends on the coverage you need, rather than the name of the ceremony alone. A single ceremony at one venue requires a different plan from several celebrations across different days and preparation addresses.
Start with your dates, events, venues and approximate timings. That gives your photographer enough detail to explain the team, hours and deliverables in a written quote.
What changes the price?
- Coverage hours: include preparations, travel, ceremonies, portraits and the reception.
- Number of events: explain whether you need coverage for a Mehndi, Maiyan, Jaago, Sangeet, Nikah, wedding ceremony or another celebration.
- Team size: simultaneous preparations or overlapping events may need a second photographer or a separate film team.
- Locations and travel: share every address and any accommodation requirements.
- Finished products: albums, extra filming and additional edits should be listed separately.
Compare the coverage, not only the total
Two quotes can have the same price and provide very different coverage. Compare the number of people attending, their roles, the start and finish times, edited-photo delivery, film deliverables and any album specification. Ask what happens if the schedule runs late and how additional hours are agreed.
Check the payment schedule, cancellation terms and delivery expectations before booking. Keep these details in the contract, rather than relying on a message or an assumption.
Planning your Ikonic quote
Our current photography prices and photography and film packages are the starting point. Multi-day events, travel, team requirements and extras are confirmed for your plans; a starting price does not describe every wedding.
