Wedding Videographer Birmingham
Hear it. Feel it. Live it again.
The catch in your voice. Their laugh during the speeches.
The people you wish you could hold onto a little longer.
You are planning a day you will never want to forget. A wedding film gives you more than a way to see it again—it brings back how it sounded and how it felt.

For the two of you
One day. So many things
you will want to remember.
While you are getting ready, your partner is taking a deep breath. While you are listening to a speech, someone at the next table is wiping away a tear. You cannot be everywhere on your wedding day. Your film can help you discover the moments you missed.
Ikonic Media Solutions offers wedding videography in Birmingham and the West Midlands, with a team based in Wednesbury. We discuss your celebration, priorities and locations, then quote the filming coverage and finished films around your plans. Photography and film can also be discussed together.
The words that matter
Vows, blessings and speeches can become some of your most treasured memories. Tell us whose voices you want to keep, and we will discuss audio coverage in your film brief.
The people around you
Your film is about more than the two of you. Share the family relationships, friendships and little details you would love us to look out for.
A celebration that feels like yours
A quiet ceremony or a full dance floor. One day or several events. Start with what matters to you, so we can plan the filming around your celebration.
Find the right fit
What kind of wedding film
do you want to come back to?
Film names vary between videographers. Use this guide to explain what you want, then ask for the exact running times and deliverables in your quotation. These are options to discuss, not a list of automatic inclusions.
| Film format | What it is for | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Highlight film | A shorter, edited story bringing together selected moments, sound and music. | Running time, use of vows or speeches, and the editing style. |
| Ceremony & speeches | Longer recordings for couples who want to revisit the words in more detail. | Whether full recordings are included, camera coverage and audio arrangements. |
| Social teaser | A short edit intended for sharing with friends and family. | Vertical or landscape format, length, delivery date and music rights. |
| Multi-event coverage | A film brief covering celebrations across different events or days. | Each event, location, filming hours, team size and the final edits. |
For your consultation, ask us for complete wedding-film examples that are close to your plans. Listen to the sound, watch the pacing and look at how the ceremony and people are represented—not just the opening shots.

People before cameras
Feel comfortable
with the people beside you.
Being filmed can feel unfamiliar. You do not have to arrive knowing what to do. Tell us if you feel camera-shy, prefer less direction or have moments you would like kept private. Your consultation is a chance to talk about all of it.
Our wedding photography and film work includes Sikh, Hindu, Muslim, Christian and multicultural celebrations. Share your ceremony traditions, important rituals and any venue or religious restrictions so they can be discussed before the day.

A clear plan. A personal quotation.
How much does wedding
videography cost?
Wedding videography with Ikonic is individually quoted. The cost depends on your date, filming hours, locations, number of events, team size and the films you would like delivered. Share these details for a written quotation you can compare properly.
Photography prices on our website are not standalone wedding-film prices. If you want both services, ask for a combined photography and film quotation with each inclusion clearly listed.
Coverage on the day
Confirm the start and finish times, travel between locations, who will be filming and what happens if the schedule runs late.
The films you receive
Agree the edits, approximate lengths, ceremony and speech recordings, delivery format and expected turnaround.
The booking details
Read the deposit, payment schedule, cancellation terms, revision policy, music arrangements and any travel costs before booking.
Before you choose your videographer
A few good questions
make the decision easier.
“Can we see a complete film?”
A full example helps you judge storytelling, audio and consistency. Ask for something relevant to your ceremony and celebration, rather than judging only a showreel.
“How will you work with our day?”
Discuss the ceremony rules, coordination with your photographer, time for couple footage and the moments you do not want interrupted.
“What happens if plans change?”
Ask about illness cover, equipment and footage backups, weather alternatives and changes to the timeline. Get the relevant arrangements in writing.
A note on drone footage: treat it as a conditional extra, not a promise. Weather, airspace, the location and permissions can affect whether filming is possible. See the Civil Aviation Authority’s current drone guidance and confirm arrangements with your filmmaker and venue.

Explore our wedding FAQs ↗What does a wedding videographer do?
A wedding videographer records moving images and sound, then edits the agreed footage into your wedding films. Coverage may include preparations, the ceremony, speeches and the reception. The hours, team and final films should be specified in your booking agreement.
Is wedding videography worth it if we have a photographer?
Photography preserves individual moments; film adds movement and sound. If hearing your vows, speeches or loved ones laughing matters to you, film offers something different. Decide around what you want to revisit and the budget you feel comfortable spending.
Do you film weddings in Birmingham and the West Midlands?
Yes. Ikonic Media Solutions is based at 7 Vicarage Road, Wednesbury, WS10 9DW, and serves Birmingham and the West Midlands. UK weddings further afield and destination celebrations can be discussed, with travel and any accommodation confirmed in the quotation.
Can we book wedding photography and videography together?
Yes, you can discuss photography and film together with Ikonic. Ask for a combined quotation that confirms the team, coverage hours, photographs and film deliverables. Film is not automatically included in every photography package.
How far in advance should we book our wedding videographer?
Enquire once you have a date and venue, especially if your plans involve several events or travel. Availability depends on the date and team required. Send your details to check availability rather than relying on a fixed booking window.
Can vows and speeches be included in our wedding film?
Tell us which words and people you want to hear again. Confirm audio recording, venue restrictions and whether you want selected extracts or full ceremony and speech recordings. These should be agreed as part of your film brief.
How long will our wedding film be, and when will it arrive?
Film length and delivery time depend on the edits you commission and the coverage involved. Your quotation and booking agreement should state both. If you need a teaser for a particular date, discuss it before booking.
Will we receive raw footage or be able to choose the music?
Do not assume raw footage is included. Ask about its availability, format and any additional charge. Share your music preferences, but confirm licensing and usage rights with the filmmaker, especially if you plan to post the film online.
Can our wedding film stay private?
Tell us about your privacy preferences before booking, including guests or moments you do not want shown publicly. Confirm delivery access and any permission for portfolio or social media use in your agreement.
What should we send when asking for a quotation?
Send your wedding date, ceremony and reception locations, approximate timings, number of events and the films you would like. Mention important traditions, travel, photography requirements and any privacy or access needs.
